A new line of 82-inch Xiaomi TVs with 8K resolution and 5G support is presented
Xiaomi is expanding its range of branded TVs and entering the market for high-end TVs that use advanced technologies. The new series features two models of TVs with the same 82-inch diagonals. The Xiaomi Mi TV Master Extreme Edition device is designed for consumers with high requirements for the quality of TV images, and the second, more affordable Mi TV 8K Master model is aimed at the gaming audience.

TV Mi TV Master Extreme Edition gets an 82-inch screen, the matrix of which uses Mini LED technology. The device supports video playback in 8K resolution (7680 × 4320) and its 10-bit screen is capable of transmitting up to 1.07 billion colors and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Mi TV Master Extreme Edition hardware is powered by a Novatek 72685 chipset (2x A73 + 2xA53) with a Mali G51 MP4 graphics chip. The device supports fifth-generation networks, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG technologies. The TV screen is capable of transmitting 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, with a brightness of 2000 nits and a contrast ratio of 4000000:1.

The original solution is the presence of Sound Dynamic Wing speakers, which automatically slide out when the TV is turned on and are analogous to two external sound panels (20 W x2). The new product will be available for purchase in China from October 21 at a price of about 7325 dollars (49,999 yuan).

The second, younger model of the Xiaomi Mi TV Master series also gets an 82-inch 10-bit screen with Mini LED technology and support for 120 Hz refresh. However, on this TV, aimed primarily at fans of computer games, the maximum resolution is limited to 4K (3840 x 2160). This TV is designed for gamers, as it is equipped with HDMI 2.1 and 120 Hz with Adaptive Sync and ALLM (automatic mode with low latency).

The Xiaomi Mi TV Master hardware gets a Mediatek MTK 9650 processor with a Quad-core Cortex A73 processor and a Mali G52 MC1 GPU.The TV has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory (about the amount of RAM and storage of the older model, information is not reported). The TV is running under the proprietary MIUI shell for Smart TV. In China, the Xiaomi Mi TV Master model will sell for $ 1,465 (9,999 yuan). There is no information about the global version of the 82-inch Xiaomi TVs.
