"accelerated mode" of IBM quantum computers

IBM, a pioneer in the field of quantum technologies, will improve the performance of Qiskit this year. It is a software development package for quantum computers.

Qiskit allows you to run applications on real IBM quantum processors or on a simulator. In addition, it can be used to download specialized programs to conventional equipment located next to quantum machines. The upgrade of Qiskit is necessary in order to reduce the delay in the transmission of information between the user's computer and the quantum chip.

As a result, quantum computers will be able to work in "accelerated mode". The company is talking about a 100-fold acceleration of the solution of certain tasks. This means that calculations that currently take months will take only a few hours in the future.
