Alienware gaming OLED monitor
Brand Alienware, owned by Dell, showed at the electronics show Consumer Electronic Show 2019 (CES) prototype of a huge monitor for gaming systems.
The Alienware 55 panel has a size of 55 inches diagonally. The resolution is 3840 × 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K format.
The product is made according to the technology of organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). Observers note that the monitor provides the highest image quality, including deep black color.
It is said about HDR support. The refresh rate is 120 Hz; the coverage of the color space DCI-P3 is greater than 98 percent.
The monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 interface. At the rear of the housing there is a multicolor backlight that includes a logo of Alienware.
Unfortunately, other characteristics of the panel are not disclosed yet. In the commercial market, the novelty may appear in the second half of this year. The price, according to network sources, is likely to exceed $ 3,000.
