AMD Ryzen 5000 series passed the test in single core mode
Last week, AMD announced the launch of a new series of Ryzen 5000 processors in the Zen 3 architecture for desktop computer systems. Experts promptly conducted a full test of the presented Ryzen 5000 line in the Cinebench R20 benchmark in single-core mode.

When checking the performance of processors, a 3D scene rendering test using the Maxon Cinema 4D engine was used. The test results were posted on Twitter by user DGBurns.

The highest number of points - 641 was received by the flagship Ryzen 9 5950X processor (16 cores). The best in the world, according to AMD developers, gaming chip Ryzen 9 5900X (12 cores), showed a result of 629 points. The 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X processor scored 618 points, and the Ryzen 5 5600X with 6 cores scored 604 points.

Thus, all models of the Ryzen 5000 series of processors in single-core testing exceeded the value of 600, while none of the processors of competitors Intel Core could not overcome this indicator. The next confirmation of the high performance of the new series of AMD chips should be a test in multithreaded mode.
