AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor on Zen3 architecture confirmed
Last week, the benchmark database Ashes of the Singularity (AOTS) confirmed the existence of a mobile hybrid processor AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, and now AOTS lit up a promising desktop OCTA-core Ryzen 7 5800X.

Unfortunately, no characteristics of the new product are reported, except for the number of cores (8 of them) and threads (16). The benchmark results are presented below, but they are difficult to evaluate due to the fact that the pre-production sample of the CPU was most likely tested.

Perhaps the most important thing in this leak, in addition to the actual confirmation of the real existence of Ryzen 7 5800X — confirmation of the designation of the new line. Ryzen 5000 in terms of nomenclature is seriously distanced from Ryzen 3000, users will find it easier to navigate all the current CPU and APU AMD.

In addition to the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X, the line will include the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X. And, we should think that there will also be a flagship 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X. All of them will be built on the Zen3 architecture, which, like the processors based on it, AMD will reveal very soon — on October 8.
