Huawei, whose share for the year increased by one and a half times — from 10 % to 15 %. Well, the South Korean giant Samsung closes the top three with 10 %. Thus, these three suppliers together hold more than half of the global smartwatch market.
In fourth place is BBK with its Imoo brand — approximately 7 %. Then there are Fitbit, Amazfit, Garmin and Fossil with results of 6%, 5%, 4% and 2% respectively. All other market players collectively control 23 %.
The largest sales region for smart watches was China with a 30.2% share, which managed to overtake North America, which is now in second place with 29.9 %. This is followed by Europe.
