ASUS Chromebook tablet CT100
ASUS has timed to the exhibition CES 2019 announcement of its first tablet running the operating system Chrome OS: the gadget was named Chromebook Tablet CT100.
The novelty is focused on the use in the educational sphere. The device is enclosed in a high-strength housing, thanks to which it is not afraid of falling from a height of up to one meter.
The 9.7-inch diagonal touchscreen has a QXGA resolution (2048 × 1536 pixels). There are cameras based on 2-MP and 5-MP matrices.
The basis is a six-core processor OP1 (two cores ARM Cortex-A72 and four cores ARM Cortex-A53), equipped with a graphics accelerator Mali-T864. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, the capacity of the flash drive-up to 32 GB.
The tablet is equipped with wireless adapters Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.1, microSD slot, USB type — C port.dimensions are 238,8 × 172,2 × 9,9 mm, weight-about 570 grams.
Sales of ASUS Chromebook Tablet CT100 will begin in the coming months. Unfortunately, the price has not been disclosed yet.
