Barnes & Noble Nook 10.1 tablet
Barnes & Noble has announced a tablet computer Nook 10.1, equipped with a display on the matrix IPS size 10.1 inches diagonally.
The screen has a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, and the pixel density is 224 PPI (dots per inch). A 2-megapixel camera is installed in the front and rear parts.
The tablet is equipped with a Wi-Fi wireless adapter with support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz). The built-in flash drive is designed to store 32 GB of data; you can also install a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB.
The gadget has a Micro-USB 2.0 port and a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. The claimed battery life on a single charge of the battery reaches 8.5 hours.
The tablet uses the Android operating system. Users will be able to work with the Play store. The price of Barnes & Noble Nook 10.1 is $ 130.
Note that in the third quarter of this year, according to IDC estimates, 36.4 million tablets were sold worldwide. This is 8.6% less than a year ago.
