Core i3-10100F lost its graphics core, but fell in price
|The line of modern Intel processors has been expanded with the Core i3-10100F model. As the name implies, this is an analog of the Core i3-10100, but with the graphics core disabled. Accordingly, all other parameters have not changed. |
In other words, we have four cores with Hyper-Threading support, frequencies of 3.6-4.3 GHz, 6 MB of cache memory and a TDP of 65 watts. But the price has changed: 79-97 dollars against 122 for the Core i3-10100.
The price difference is not particularly large, but when building an inexpensive PC with a discrete video card, many users will be happy to save 20-30 dollars. In addition, the Core i3-10100F is better suited to compete with the Ryzen 3 3100. The latter is still often faster, but now at least not cheaper.
