CPU cooler Spire Xerus 992 received six direct contact heat pipes
|Spire has announced the universal processor cooler Xerus 992: the new product is recommended for use with chips whose maximum value of heat dissipation (TDP) does not exceed 150 watts. |
The novelty has a traditional tower design. Six copper U-shaped heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm pass through the aluminum radiator. They have direct contact with the processor cover, which helps to increase the efficiency of heat removal.
A 120-millimeter fan with a rotation speed of 700 to 1600 revolutions per minute will be used to blow out the radiator. An air flow of up to 76 cubic meters per hour is formed. The static pressure level reaches 2.21 mm of water column, the noise level is from 10 to 22 dBA.
The fan has a multi-color RGB backlight. The declared service life is 100 thousand hours. It is said to be compatible with Intel processors in the LGA 1366/115x/775 version, as well as with AMD chips in the Socket AM4/AM3/AM2/FM2/FM1 version.
