Elon Musk moved to Texas
The rumor that Elon Musk is going to exchange the Sunny California coast for no less Sunny Texas, fully confirmed. This was announced by Musk himself in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. However, the reason for moving is not in taxes.

Recall that various publications reported that the reason for moving Musk is not to pay income tax on profits – in California it is 13.3% (one of the largest in the United States), and in Texas it simply does not exist. But Musk himself denied these rumors. He said his two biggest projects right now are the Tesla Gigafactory Austin and SpaceX's development of the starship interplanetary spacecraft. Work on both is underway in Texas.

There is no need to talk about the importance of Starship – it is clear that this is a very ambitious and important project. Recall that SpaceX is going to send people to Mars in 2026. And if the tests go faster, then even earlier. As for the Giga Austin, this plant will assemble Semi electric trucks and Cybertruck pickups. Both are brand – new products, and Musk will clearly be tightly controlling the work on them so that they do not turn out to be raw products already at the mass production stage.

As for the Tesla headquarters, it will remain in Palo Alto (California) for now. But in the long run, it is possible that the head office of Tesla will also move to Texas.
