GeForce RTX 3060 Ti outperformed RTX 2080 Super in 3DMark Fire Strike and Time Spy tests
|The launch of the new popular NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card is just around the corner. Reviewers are already busy testing the video cards received from the manufacturer, which will be officially presented next week. Meanwhile, there are more leaks from the same reviewers. |
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti does turn out to be faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Super — at least in 3DMark tests. The difference between the two cards is minimal, but the new accelerator will definitely be a much more attractive alternative to the previous model for $699 dollars.
Interestingly, the GeForce RTX 3070 has 1024 more CUDA cores, while the results are only 12% higher. For RTX 3060 Ti models that are manufactured with factory overclocking, this gap can be reduced even more.
NVIDIA will officially release the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti on December 2, but reviews will appear a day earlier-on December 1. Major retailers have been receiving new graphics cards for almost a month, so you can expect that this accelerator will be available on the shelves for a few minutes longer than the previous representatives of the GeForce RTX 3000 family.
