HarmonyOS 2.0 for smartphones turned out to be a redesigned Android 10 with EMUI
|HarmonyOS 2.0 is already being tested on Huawei smartphones, but so far the number of models is limited. |
The author of ArsTechnica was able to test HarmonyOS with the EMUI shell and draw some conclusions about the Chinese operating system.
According to the journalist, HarmonyOS is no different from Android 10, and it was noted that HarmonyOS 2.0 is a copy of the American OS, but only with the EMUI add-on.
ArsTechnica notes that there is nothing particularly terrible about the fact that the Chinese company copied Android 10, but it came out very clearly and without significant differences.
It is worth noting that now HarmonyOS for mobile devices is at an early stage of testing, and as noted in Huawei, in the future, the operating system will be launched with a completely new EMUI interface.
Meanwhile, earlier other sources also reported that the new OS is a re-branded Android 10 with EMUI, but at the same time there was an assumption that the use of Android will only be in tests, while serial devices will be released based on the company's own OS.
