HP has introduced a computer mouse USB Fingerprint Mouse, a feature of which is the possibility of biometric identification of users.

In the upper part of the case of the manipulator there is a fingerprint scanner . This allows you to access your computers through Windows Hello without having to enter a password.

It is noted that the fingerprint samples are stored in the mouse itself, not on the PC. Moreover, AES encryption with a 256-bit key is used for protection.

The mouse has a symmetrical design, making it suitable for both right-handed and left-handed people. Two buttons and a wheel with Hyper-Fast Scrolling feature are available.

A laser sensor is involved, the resolution of which can be changed in the range from 800 to 1600 DPI (dots per inch). A wired USB interface is used to connect to the computer.

The HP USB Fingerprint Mouse is designed primarily for office use. The device will go on sale in December at an estimated price of $50.
