Apple has updated its list of obsolete and retired products. The main innovation was the appearance of the seventh-generation iPod nano in the list of obsolete products.

The fifth-generation iPod touch media player, which debuted in October 2012, is also on the list of obsolete and retired devices.

Apple refers to "obsolete" products that were discontinued more than 5 or less than 7 years ago.
