Last year's flagships Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ got Android 11
|Samsung Electronics has started open beta testing of the one UI 3.0 shell based on the latest version of the Android 11 operating system for its last year's flagship Galaxy S10 series smartphones. |
Users of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ (review), and even the simpler Galaxy S10e model can participate in testing. The testing program is currently working for users of these smartphones in India, South Korea and the UK. A beta version of One UI 3.0 may also be available soon for users in Poland and Germany.
As usually happens in such cases, you can install the beta version only at your own risk, being well aware that the test firmware can bring a lot of problems to your smartphone. So if the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ or Galaxy S10e is your only smartphone, you might want to wait for the release of the stable version of One UI 3.0 with Android 11 and not risk being left without a connection at all.
