Lucid completes construction of a plant capable of producing up to 400,000 electric vehicles a year
Lucid Motor has announced that it has completed the first phase of construction of an electric car manufacturing plant in Casa Grande, Arizona. With future expansions, it is planned to produce up to 400,000 electric vehicles per year.

Recall that the Lucid Air electric car with impressive characteristics was introduced in September. This particular model will be produced at the Lucid AMP-1 plant in Arizona.

Lack of funding led to delays in implementing Lucid's plans, but construction of the plant was started last year. The equipment is currently being installed and put into operation. Serial production of Lucid Air should begin in the coming months. In other words, the first electric cars will roll off the Lucid AMP-1 Assembly line in the spring of 2021. To clarify, Lucid plans to produce 30,000 cars a year for the first time, with further expansion of production. Images taken inside the workshops give an idea of the current state of the project.
