Mobvoi announced TicWatch C2
Mobvoi announced at the last event in London a new addition to its series of smart watches TicWatch-model TicWatch C2 (Classic 2).
The $200 novelty is the successor of TicWatch 2, which was first offered on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
As the name implies, the appearance of the wearable device resembles a classic watch. Its main difference from its predecessor is the use of the operating system Wear OS. The previous model was delivered with Ticwear OS own operating system based on Android, allowing to use Mobvoi solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, including recommendations based on the time of day and location. However, the transition to Wear OS means greater compatibility of TicWatch C2 with third-party applications that were not supported by the Ticwear OS platform.
Another important difference is the NFC module to support Google Pay payment service. Pre-installed voice assistant Google Assistant will answer any of your questions and help in sending texts. As the previous model smart watch TicWatch C2 have the function of monitoring the state of health and fitness activities using the GPS receiver, heart rate sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. Thanks to the battery capacity of 400 mAh, the new model provides a longer battery life of up to 2 days.
