Pro1-X with physical keyboard and Snapdragon 835 chip
The first prototype of the f(x)TEC Pro 1 slider smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard was demonstrated almost two years ago at the MWC 2019 exhibition in Barcelona. F (x) tec startup engineers introduced some improvements to the prototype and together with the online resource XDA Developers brought an updated device under the Pro1-x brand to the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. Currently, the project was supported by about 1000 users who invested in an unusual smartphone over 620 thousand dollars with the necessary 75 thousand. Meanwhile, there are still 12 days left until the end of the fundraising period.

The hardware of the new smartphone is almost identical to the prototype shown in Barcelona in February 2019. The screen with an AMOLED matrix and a diagonal of 5.99 inches, with a resolution of 2160×1080, is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. the QWERTY Slide-out keyboard is equipped with physical buttons and is located under the main module of the smartphone.

The hardware of the Pro1-X smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor (the 2017 flagship). Depending on the modification, you can get a smartphone with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory, which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 2 TB.

Autonomous operation is supported by a 3200 mAh battery. There is an NFC module, a front camera with an 8 MP sensor and a dual main camera with 12 and 5 MP sensors. The prototype F(x) tec Pro 1 was priced at $ 600, but the expansion of RAM (for Lineage and Ubuntu Touch) forced manufacturers to increase the price of the Pro1-X model to $ 899.
