Samsung designs smartphone based on Snapdragon 710 platform
Samsung, according to network sources, is developing a new mid-range smartphone on the Qualcomm Snapdragon hardware platform.
Recently, the South Korean giant announced the device Galaxy A9 with a Quad rear camera, which is based on the Snapdragon 660 processor. As now it became known, soon the range of Samsung smartphones will replenish the device on the Snapdragon 710 chip.
Recall that the product Snapdragon 710 combines eight 64-bit computing cores Kryo 360 with a clock speed up to 2.2 GHz and graphics accelerator Adreno 616. An Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engine is provided to help speed up the execution of operations related to artificial intelligence. The Snapdragon X15 LTE modem theoretically allows you to download data at speeds up to 800 Mbps.
Observers believe that the novelty can be called Galaxy A10. Android 9.0 (Pie) will be used as a software platform. Most likely, the device will receive a main camera with several optical modules.
The official announcement of the smartphone may take place at the end of this year or early next year.
