Samsung has started certification of the Galaxy S21+
|Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S21 family of flagship smartphones in January next year. The devices have already started to pass certification. Today, the Samsung Galaxy S21+ was found in the BIS (Bureau of Indian standards) database with the model number SMG996B/DS. |
Thus, there is every reason to believe that the release of the new flagship family of the South Korean company is not far off. Recall that the basic version of the Galaxy S21 "lit up" in the BIS database a few days ago. It will differ from the Galaxy S21+ with a 6.2-inch matrix, instead of the 6.7-inch panel in the older version, but both devices are expected to boast a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+resolution.
The Galaxy S21 family, which will include three devices, is expected to be unveiled on January 14. Upcoming new products are credited with supporting the s-Pen stylus. It is assumed that the company is taking such a step to abandon the Galaxy Note series next year. As for the platform on which the upcoming flagships will be based, it is assumed that the international version will receive the proprietary Exynos 2100 chipset, and users from the United States and South Korea will receive smartphones with Snapdragon 875.
