Samsung may discontinue the production of smartphones Galaxy Note
Samsung Electronics may stop producing Galaxy Note smartphones next year. This was reported by Reuters, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. The South Korean manufacturer's decision reflects a sharp drop in demand for high-end smartphones due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Galaxy Note devices, known for their large screens and pen, form one of two Samsung premium smartphone series. The second series is more compact Galaxy S devices that attract consumers with the most advanced equipment.

The South Korean tech giant currently has no plans to develop a new version of the Galaxy Note by 2021. This information came from three sources who declined to be identified because Samsung does not disclose its plans.

Instead, the older model of the Galaxy S series, the S21, will get a pen, and the next version of Samsung's foldable smartphone will support pen input, but the pen for it will be sold separately. Resources that were previously allocated to the development of Note will now be directed to the line of folding smartphones.
