Streacom DB1 radiator case for silent computers
|Streacom has announced the DB1 enclosure, designed specifically for building compact desktop systems with zero noise. The new product will be offered in silver and black versions. |
The device does not provide the possibility of installing fans, and the case itself serves as a radiator for heat removal. The product is made of aluminum panels 4 mm thick; one of the walls has a ribbed design.
You can install a Mini-ITX motherboard. The processor's TDP (maximum heat dissipation) can reach up to 45 watts.
Overall dimensions are 222 × 222 × 101 mm, volume-4.98 liters. There are no seats for expansion cards in the case. The system can only be equipped with one 2.5-inch drive and one M. 2 2280 solid-state module.
The developer highlights the presence of a removable interface unit in the front part: it can accommodate a USB 3.0 Type-A or USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port.
The Streacom DB1 case will go on sale in the first quarter of next year at a price of 110 euros. For an additional 68 euros, you can buy a silent Nano90 power supply with a power of 90 watts.
